There are different rules for attendees at committee meetings and general meetings. Before you consider the rules apply some common sense. If an owner wishes to attend to gain information about a particular issue and how it’s being addressed, then in most cases a committee (for example) should go out of its way to enable that to happen. Likewise, if an owner’s “support person” at a general meeting is being so loud and obnoxious as to disrupt the conduct of the meeting then the chair should request them to leave! If you get advance warning of the attendance of such a trouble maker, then take advice on the rules and be prepared.
